Joseph sent Judah ahead of him to go to Goshen.
They came to the land of Goshen.
Joseph got his wagon ready and went to meet his father Israel in Goshen.
Joseph came to him, hugged him, and cried on his neck for a long time.
Israel said to Joseph, "Now I can die, for I have seen your face and know you live."
Joseph said to his brothers and to his father's house, "I will go to Pharaoh and tell him that my brothers and my father's house from Canaan have come to me."
Joseph said, "They are shepherds, because they keep sheep and cows, and they brought their flocks and herds and all their things."
Joseph said, "When Pharaoh calls you and asks, What do you do? you must say, We keep cattle from when we were young until now, me and our fathers."
Joseph said, "Then Pharaoh will let you live in Goshen, because the Egyptians hate shepherds."
