God made the first people on the day he made people.
God made the man in God's own form.
God made a man and a woman.
God blessed them and gave them the name Adam on the day he made them.
Adam lived one hundred thirty years.
He had a son who looked like him and named him Seth.
After he had Seth, Adam lived eight hundred more years and had sons and daughters.
Adam lived nine hundred thirty years and then he died.
Seth lived one hundred five years.
He had a son and named him Enosh.
After he had Enosh, Seth lived eight hundred seven more years and had sons and daughters.
Seth lived nine hundred twelve years and then he died.
Enosh lived ninety years.
He had a son named Kenan.
After he had Kenan, Enosh lived eight hundred fifteen more years and had sons and daughters.
Enosh lived nine hundred five years and then he died.
Kenan lived seventy years.
He had a son named Mahalalel.
After he had Mahalalel, Kenan lived eight hundred forty more years and had sons and daughters.

Mahalalel lived sixty five years.

Enoch walked with God for three hundred years.

He had a son named Lamech.
After he had Lamech, Methuselah lived seven hundred eighty two more years and had sons and daughters.
Methuselah lived nine hundred sixty nine years and then he died.
Lamech lived one hundred eighty two years.
He had a son and called him Noah.
He said, "Noah will give us comfort in our work and in our hard work because the ground is very hard now."
After he had Noah, Lamech lived five hundred ninety five more years and had sons and daughters.
Lamech lived seven hundred seventy seven years and then he died.
Noah was five hundred years old.
Noah had three sons named Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
