People began to live on the earth and have daughters.
The sons of God saw the daughters of men and they were fair.
They chose the daughters as wives.
God said His Spirit will not fight with man forever because man is flesh, but his days will be one hundred and twenty years.
The Nephilim were on the earth then and after that when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and they had children.
These children were strong men from old times and they were famous.
God saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth.
Every thought in their hearts was only evil all the time.
God was sorry that He had made man, and this made Him sad inside.
God said, "I will destroy the man I made from the earth; I will destroy man, beast, crawling things, and birds, for I am sorry I made them."
But Noah found favor in God's eyes.
These are the family lines of Noah.
Noah was a good man and true in his ways; Noah walked with God.
Noah had three sons named Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
The earth was very bad before God, and the earth was full of violence.
God saw the earth, and it was corrupt because all flesh had spoiled their way on the earth.
God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh is near me, because the earth is full of violence; I will destroy them with the earth.
Make an ark of gopher wood.
Make rooms in the ark and cover it inside and outside with pitch.
This is how you shall make it: the length of the ark is three hundred cubits, the width is fifty cubits, and the height is thirty cubits.
Make a light for the ark and finish it up to one cubit at the top.
Put the door on the side and make lower, second, and third stories.
I am bringing the flood of water on the earth to destroy all flesh with the breath of life under heaven; everything on the earth shall die.
But I will keep my promise with you; you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives will go into the ark.
Bring two of every living thing of all flesh into the ark to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female.
Of the birds by their kind, and the cattle by their kind, and every crawling thing on the ground by its kind, two of every sort shall come to you to keep them alive.
Take for yourself all the food people eat and gather it; it will be food for you and for them.
Noah did all that God commanded him.
