God told Noah, "Come with your family into the ark; I see you are good in this time."
Take seven males and seven females of every clean animal.
Take two, a male and a female, of the animals that are not clean.
Also take seven male birds and seven female birds from the sky to keep their kind alive on all land.
In seven days more I will make it rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will end every living thing I made on the land.
Noah did everything that God told him.
Noah was six hundred years old when the water flood was on the earth.
Noah went into the ark with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives because of the flood water.
From clean animals, from not clean animals, from birds, and from every small thing that moves on the ground,
two and two went to Noah into the ark, a male and a female, just as God told Noah.
After seven days the flood water was on the earth.
In Noah's six hundredth year, in the second month, on the seventeenth day, on that day the deep water came up, and the windows of the sky opened.
Rain was on the earth for forty days and forty nights.
On that same day Noah, Shem, Ham, Japheth, Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons went into the ark.
They, and every animal by its kind, and every farm animal by its kind, and every small thing that moves on the earth by its kind, and every bird by its kind, every bird of every kind, went in.
They went to Noah into the ark, two and two of all living flesh with the air of life.
They that went in did so male and female of all flesh, as God told him, and God closed the door.
The flood was on the earth for forty days, and the waters rose, lifted the ark, and it went above the earth.
The waters kept rising and went up on the earth, and the ark went on the water.
The waters rose very high on the earth, and all the high mountains under the sky were covered.
The water went up fifteen cubits high, and the mountains were covered.
All living things that moved on the land died: birds, cattle, animals, every small thing that moves, and every person.
All in whose nose was the air of life that was on dry land died.
Every living thing on the ground was destroyed, man, cattle, small moving things, and the birds of the sky; they were gone from the earth, and only Noah and those with him in the ark were left.
The waters were on the earth for one hundred fifty days.
